Non-surgical Facial and Body Augmentation in Transgender and Gender Non-binary Patients Clinical 2

A push to reduce the clinically significant distress that comes with gender misalignment after birth has been an influential topic over the past decade. With so much political and media attention placed on this severely underserved population, the medical and surgical needs of the transgender and gender non-binary populations have become increasingly recognized. Where an abundance of literature exists on gender affirming surgeries, far less has been produced on non-surgical options and management. This presentation will briefly discuss accepted ideals of the male and female face and body, identify nonsurgical treatment options for facial and body feminization or masculinization, identify how treatment options may be beneficial to a trans person, and much more.
